Dive into an ongoing series where we intertwine the practice of yoga with the art of rope tying. In this class, we'll explore various tools in yoga that help enhance our rope experiences. Learn essential self-care techniques for both pre- and post-tie. Discover the power of self-regulation, mindful breathing, and bodily awareness in challenging positions. Enhance your flexibility and mobility for intricate ties.&nbsp;Tune in to your own bodily autonomy and wisdom. Whether you're a seasoned rope bottom or simply intrigued by the fusion of yoga and rope or somewhere in between, join us in this journey of empowerment on and off the mat, on and off the ropes. Instructor bio: TSIKA: Using an approachable, inclusive, and trauma-conscious style, I help individuals safely learn the basics of yoga and grow in their practice. Students can expect engaging all-levels classes and to leave feeling refreshed and empowered with tools for self-care and self-regulation. <h2>FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS</h2>RECOMMENDED ITEMS TO BRING:Wear clothing that allows you to feel comfortable, empowered or expressive. This is not a play party and all guests will be encouraged to come in clothing that comfortable and/or expressive in ways that feel good to them but required to keep under garments on and pelvic area covered.Suggested Items to bring:• mat/blanket• jacket/sweater• 1-2 hanks of rope + safety shears/cutting instrument• notepad /pen• water + snacks*We have mats, blankets, pillows, safety sheers, snacks + NA beverages, and clean rope to borrow and for sale.
