Kensington Metropark Nature Center

Unfortunately, due to low attendance, we are moving the Welcome to Nature Photography field trip to Kensington Nature Center and will no longer be going to Hidden Lake Gardens. If you are still interested in attending, we'd love to see you on Sunday. Come one, come all. Join us for our Welcome to Nature Photography field trip series as we explore southeast Michigan at different seasons through the lens of a camera. Whether you shoot mirrorless, DSLR, action camera, film camera or even your cell phone, we welcome photographers that enjoy taking pictures of the natural world around us.As we approach winter this fall season, a good number of summer birds will migrate from Southeast Michigan and winter birds will journey here. Enjoy not only the birds but the beautiful landscapes and Fall colors that Autumn has to offer. Join our Detroit Bird Alliance nature photography field trip as we photograph them. Zoom lens is ideal but you could take pictures through binoculars for a similar effect.
