<h3>Join us to celebrate DC Pride!</h3> The LGBTQIA+ Community constitutes a significant segment within the business events industry. Please join our collaboration of organizations as we march in the 2024 DC Pride Parade on Saturday, June 8. Your participation will foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and show our collective support for this vital segment of our community.Our organizations will gather together at an agreed upon meet up spot prior to the March (staging starts at noon, March starts at 3pm to 7pm). The location and time of our meet up spot will be determined soon and the event information will be updated and forwarded shortly. Friends and family are welcome to join! In lieu of a registration fee, a donation of $25 is suggested but not required with additional donation options available during the remaining registration process.100% of the proceeds collected will be donated to the Whitman-Walker Foundation. Also, if you are walking, feel free to bring a wagon, hand truck, and strollers.Essential Items<ul><li>Water - The parade route will have limited water stations, so make sure to bring your own water bottle to ensure you stay hydrated throughout the day!</li><li>SPF - Don’t forget to protect your skin by applying and bringing extra sunscreen.</li><li>Stay charged up - You don’t want to miss any moment if your phone dies, so don’t forget to fully charge your phone and if you can, bring a portable phone charger.</li></ul>AccessibilityThere will be a dedicated accessibility zone at the beginning of the Parade route and in front of the Grand Stand seating, in front of the announcement stand, to accommodate individuals with wheelchairs and in need of ASL.
