The annual Women of Color in the Academy Conference will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024. The conference will be held in-person and remotely from the Boston campus of Northeastern University. Most but not all components of the conference will be available remotely.
The conference offers a variety of speakers, interactive workshops, and opportunities to network with women of color academics and their allies from the Greater Boston area and beyond.
This year’s theme is Legacies of Solidarity: Bridging Generations in the New Normal.
Registration is open from Wednesday, February 21, 2024 to Thursday, May 16, 2024. A limited number of early registrants will receive a gift card. When registering, please select the ticket type that best fits your role and preferred conference modality (in-person or remote). All Northeastern faculty, staff, and students attend for free. Be sure to select the NEU ticket type.
In-person participants will receive breakfast, lunch, and light refreshments. When registering please provide information on allergies or other dietary restrictions.
