What is The Triple Play Networking Event?

The Triple Play Networking Event is a coordinated effort between three [Triple Play] organizations... Missouri Department of Transportation, Bellewether [providing supportive services to MoDOT throughout Missouri] and our community partner in Kansas City, COMTO-KC/Conference of Minority Transportation Officials.

The first Triple Play was held June 5, 2017 and has become an annual event filled with a wide variety of presentations about current and future projects in the horizontal construction space.

What is the Goal of the Triple Play Networking Event?

The event is designed to bring together contract providers [Primes and Transportation and Community Agencies] and diverse businesses seeking opportunities to offer their products or services, in an effort to forge relationships and create contracting opportunities.

Who Should Attend this Networking Event?

Transportation agency professionals; Primes working in transportation industries seeking qualified, diverse business for projects; and DIVERSE business owners seeking opportunities and relationships. Scopes for diverse firms should be related to horizontal construction.

How Can Primes Benefit?

All Federal infrastructure dollars include goals for utilization of DBE firms. It is critical for Prime companies to understand that these diverse businesses provide a tremendous contribution to transportation related projects. Primes also gain access to transportation agency professionals for the purpose of building new relationships.
