About this event

About Us

Children’s Advocacy Center of Butler County is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization established November 2013. Designed as a child friendly, trauma-informed location, the Center provides quality forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, and multidisciplinary team coordination for children who are victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, or human trafficking. In addition, the center also offers trainings to the community and professionals around Butler County. Since 2014, the Center has provided essential quality services to over 2,800 alleged victims of child abuse.

Our Mission

The Mission of Children’s Advocacy Center of Butler County is to empower our community to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of children and families.

What Difference Can You Make?

On average, it costs $1,849 for each child to be served at the Child Advocacy Center and the healing and criminal justice processes are often more lengthy and complex than anticipated for families. With that in mind, Children’s Advocacy Center of Butler County will be dedicating a portion of the proceeds from this event to ensure children seen at the Center have access to mental health treatment and court preparation services, regardless of their ability to pay. Community support like yours is critical for the Center to continue to provide these essential services to survivors of abuse and their families.

About the Event

Our 8th Annual Strike Out Child Abuse Bowling Event is held at Family Bowlaway in Butler, PA with food provided by The Hoagie Shop.
