Those of us who were old enough to remember, can tell you exactly what they were doing when they heard the news of what was happening in New York City. We climb to remember our thoughts, actions, and feelings.
Thousands of men, women, and children, civilians and emergency personnel, said goodbye to their loved ones, not knowing it would be their last time. We climb to remember them.
We climb, each year after 2001, to remember every little aspect of that tragic day. We learn new stories, hear about new first hand accounts, and discover something special each year.
This years event will once again be held at the University of Missouri, on Faurot Field. We are excited to put on an amazing event, with new features and memories, all to remember our fallen brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice 23 years ago. You have the option of climbing for a fallen firefighter, a fallen law enforcement officer, or a fallen EMS worker.
When you register to climb with us, you will receive entry into the event, a special edition climbers T-shirt, a lanyard with the fallen hero you chose, and a challenge coin.
We have made a promise to never forget these heroes, and to carry on the legacies to the newest generations.
