Will I be able to purchase books at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Local bookshop, Two Birds Books will be onsite and selling books. Ellen, Farnaz and Nancy will be signing books after the reading.

I live in Texas, can I still attend the event?

Yes! there will be an array of delicious nibbles and the first round of drinks is on us. Local wines, beer on tap and other beverages will be available.

Thank you for asking. There will be materials and info about the Poetry in the Jails Program at the event and you are more than welcome to make a donation. Or you can donate online here: https://www.poetryinthejails.org/ to support bringing poetry to people involved in the justice system.
