Welcome to the Wild Ones Native Plant Garden Tour!

Join us for a fun and educational experience as we explore beautiful gardens filled with native plants in Frederick City. This event will give you the opportunity to learn about the importance of native plants in supporting local wildlife and creating sustainable landscapes.

During the tour, you'll have the chance to see a variety of native plant species up close and hear from knowledgeable gardeners who will share tips on how to incorporate these plants into your own garden. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this tour is sure to inspire you to go native!

Six gardens will be participating. Visit one garden or all of them from 11 am - 3 pm.

Garden locations will be provided via email after registering for a ticket. Only adults need a ticket. Please read the liability waiver in the ticket selection process (click the icon next to "Free").

Where do I park?

Please use street parking.

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Yes, but please ensure they stay on garden paths.

Can I bring strollers?

The gardens will not be accessible to strollers. But portions of most gardens can be viewed from the sidewalk.

Can I bring my dog?

No, sorry we do not allow dogs on this tour.

Will there be restrooms?

Restrooms will not be available at the gardens, but there are public restrooms available at the C Burr Artz library, the Frederick Visitor Center and at the Carroll Creek and Church Street parking garages.

Are the gardens wheelchair accessible?

All of the gardens have some partial viewing from sidewalks, but the interior of the gardens are not paved.
