Connecting for a Cure Florida

Coalition to Cure Calpain 3 (C3) has a pinpoint focus: to drive research for a cure for limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2A (LGMD2A/R1), also called Calpainopathy. For the last decade, C3 has been the U.S.-based non-profit leader of funding for LGMD2A/R1 research and is led by Scientific Director Dr. Jennifer Levy who directs the grant program, with a portfolio focused on gene and cell therapy, novel approaches, tool creation, and clinical trial readiness. Additionally, C3 sponsors the LGMD2A/Calpainopathy Registry.
