<p>This course is taught by NegotiateNYC&#x27;s founder, Gabrielle Rapke Hoffman, has over 15 years of experience in commercial and finance roles where she negotiates on a daily basis. Her professional experience includes managing multi-million dollar corporate key accounts such as IBM and Dell as a Citibank relationship executive. She also negotiated financial terms on behalf of Samsung Electronics&#x27; $20 billion Latin America division. Gabrielle currently is the Managing Director of Europe and Global Commercial Strategy at airline-owned payments network UATP.</p><p>The focus of this course is preparing for a negotiation:</p><ul><li>The focus of this course is preparing for a negotiation:

</li></ul><ul><li>Evaluating your counterparty’s desired outcome and BATNA
</li></ul><ul><li>Assessing which elements may be most and least important to your counterparty
</li></ul><ul><li>Sharing information carefully and selectively, driving toward an improved outcome
</li></ul><ul><li>Viewing the negotiation in the overall context of the relationship</li></ul>
