Arlington DFW Child Care Associationis comprised of a diverse group of professional licensed and registered child care home providers as well as licensed child care centers directors and staff.The goals of the Association include:Education:to provide quality professional development, to encourage all providers to obtain their director credentials, or CDA certification along with furthering their education by obtaining an associate or bachelor degree in child development or a close related field.Peer Support:to support providers, share ideas and fellowship with one another.Community relations:educate parents, guardians and providers of the importance of quality childcare and the benefits of early childhood education and kindergarten readiness.Community service:provide community and outreach services.Business management:provide childcare business owners with best business practices to run substainable high quality businessesLegislative:to keep current with minimum standards and adopted rule changes, participate in DFPS child care council meetings regarding child care policies and issues.We’re more than just child care professionals, we're entrepreneurs and advocates for children!
