Aaron Chen

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Aaron has quickly climbed the ranks of the international comedy scene. Aaron made his mark on Australian comedy with his debut solo show in 2017 and since then has toured nationally in front of sold out crowds and rave reviews, earning him the sought-after awards for Best Newcomer (2017) and Director’s Choice (2019), and nomination for Best Show (2021) at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Since his critically acclaimed performance at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Aaron supported comedian Ronny Chieng on his Live Australian Tour, and had feature roles in Ronny Chieng International Student (ABC), Orange is the New Brown (Seven Network), and FISK (Netflix). As a comedian, he also appears on Australia’s #1 panel show, Have You Been Paying Attention (Network 10). Aaron’s acclaimed 2021 Adult Swim special A Life in Questions was for nominated for Best Short Form Comedy special at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards, and lead to development deals with Adult Swim/Warner Media. His stand-up special, If It Weren’t Filmed, Nobody Would Believe was released on YouTube in September 2022 and has accumulated almost 1 million views. Aaron lives in New York City.
