Together with the students of NYUAD’s Al Diwan Poetry Club, we invite you to a gathering in honour of poetry and literature from the region.

Join us for an evening of poetry readings with members of NYUAD’s Al Diwan Poetry Club at the ‘Library’ of our newly opened 2024 public art commission, This Is Not Your Grave by Dima Srouji. Along with poets Shahad Alsaqqaf and Roudha Almarzouqi, we'll listen and share works in both Arab and English, allowing for poetry to create a moment of solace during times of uncertainty. Bring along a poem - whether it’s a piece you’ve written yourself, or just one you hold dear - to read and share over cups of tea.
