Join Familias en Acción and filmmaker, author, and organizer, <a href="https://iampaolamendoza.com/" title="https://iampaolamendoza.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Paola Mendoza</a>, for an unforgettable evening! You'll have the chance to watch a special screening of Paola's award-winning film, Entre Nos, and have the opportunity to meet the artist behind the film. Come be in community with us and be a part of the movement. Entre Nos is inspired by a true story and follows a Colombian immigrant, Mariana, who is trying to survive with her two children in New York. Navigating a fast-paced city with an unfamiliar language, struggling with barriers to access reproductive healthcare, and finding ways to overcome poverty, Entre Nos shows us just a few of the common struggles Latine immigrants experience coming to the United States of America. The film audio will be in Spanish with English subtitles. *Ticket price includes the film screening, meet &amp; greet with Paola, networking, and light snacks. Drinks will be available for purchase.
