At Big Gay Hudson Valley we believe that a community is only as strong as the sum of its parts, so we focus on local businesses and groups and encourage visitors to think local first whenever possible. Showcasing fresh, original items of interest to the LGBTQ community and its allies, the site spotlights the efforts of local grassroots organizations that promote the diversity of the region. In addition, Big Gay Hudson Valley hosts its own events and happenings to bring the region’s myriad organizations together.

Spend a queer summer night dancing under the stars at BGHV’s Orchard Disco as we kick off Pride Along the Hudson season! Come ready to dance as DJ Go Go Gadget serves the beats and Temple Grandé serves the feats with her honey sweet hirsuite looks and a killer performance - all backed up with stellar lights &amp; sound from Superior Sounds.This indoor + outdoor event will happen rain or shine. Dogs are welcome at the Taproom and must be leashed at all times.

Gadget has served as a pioneer in the world of male burlesque. He has earned many awards including the title of The Bouncing Bubble Butt Beefcake of Burlesque. In 2019 he served as a headliner at the London Burlesque Festival and over the years has performed in Boston, New York City, Denver, Toronto, Paris, Stockholm and Vienna.Known in the theatre world as Alberto Denis, he’s been involved with a wide range of productions including the Bessie’s Awards winning “Then She Fell” , “The Grand Paradise”, “Ghost Light” at Lincoln Center in 2017 and “Confection” commissioned by the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington DC in 2019.[<a href="https://www.instagram.com/sirgogogadget/" title="https://www.instagram.com/sirgogogadget/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Follow GoGo Gadget on Instagram</a>]
