Join us for the return of Deep Love Revival in Calgary this spring! Expect an evening filled with great music, delicious food, good vibes, and amazing company at High Line Brewing. Get ready to groove to the tunes of Deep Love Revival, featuring a special expanded band for this one night only! Put on your dancing shoes, as this is a night that ends with a DJ dance party! We're pulling out all the stops and bringing in our friends Leanna &amp; Lyndon from <a href="https://www.krookedlucys.com/" title="https://www.krookedlucys.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Krooked Provisions</a> for the evening, providing a delcious three course menu for all the hungry people!We are celebrating the release of our brand new live-off-the-floor session at NMC-Studio Bell, both available on YouTube for viewing and on all streaming platforms on April 26th, 2024. "Sending Sunshine" is a track near and dear to our hearts, and we are excited to celebrate the release of this special song with you! Joining us on stage for the evening is Emily &amp; Gaby from Eclipse Acoustic Duo, and we are bringing in a special secret musical opener! So much to enjoy in just one night!Announcing our special secret musical guest: Bobby Henderson:British Columbia born, living in Calgary Alberta. Bobby’s childhood was steeped in the melodies of a bygone era. His music reflects a deep connection to the past, effortlessly evoking the nostalgia of '70s classics. It's a musical time machine, taking listeners on a journey back to the golden age of RnB and Soul. Bobby's artistry doesn't stop at nostalgia. He skillfully weaves the dreamy, shimmering textures of modern guitar and synth pop into his sonic tapestry. His sound is a bridge between two worlds, connecting the timeless to the contemporary, all the while maintaining a distinctive voice that sets him apart in a crowded musical landscape. $55 gets you a three course meal, a beverage from high line brewing and of course, admission to the show, including the dance party at the end. This recording is being released in tandem with a live video, which will be available for viewing on YouTube and streaming everywhere on April 26th.When Ainsley, lead of Deep Love Revival, gave birth to her daughter in 2021, she experienced post-partum depression, which effects approximately 15% of our population, or 1 in 7 women or new parents. this song was written with her daughter in mind, but also sending love to the millions of women learning how to be new mothers every day.‘Sending Sunshine’ was recorded with Michael Ayotte, engineer and mixer, with the full 5 piece band, including Ainsley Christine, Nathan Febel, Willand Moralda, Jer Richmond and Jonah Weightman. Ainsley participated in AE West with Canada’s Music Incubator, and this was the end fruition of that experience.Deep Love Revival has always been about healing those wounds and lifting you up through groove and good song. This 5 piece disco-soul group warms you up with original self-empowerment anthems.Fronted and curated by Ainsley Christine, this Calgary based group has grown over the past five years [renamed Deep Love Revival in 2020] by making music together, and is ready to take the next step towards national market recognition &amp; international export. With west coast groove influences, blended with country-fried sound, this juicy ensemble leaves listeners begging the question: “If I love myself, what more do I really need?”
