In this world, Blacks exceed parity in entering engineering fields, earning degrees, and succeeding professionally.The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is"to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

STEMology is a student conference for 3rd - 12th grade students, which uses STEM concepts to inspire the next generation of young leaders.

Southwest Tennessee Community College - Macon Cove Campus

<p>STEMology is a gender, minority empowerment conference for 3rd - 12th grade students which uses Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) concepts to inspire the next generation of young leaders. With guidance from local technical professionals, students will engage in interactive workshops to allow hands-on STEM learning, team activities, discussions surrounding myths and truths of minorities &amp; genders in STEM, and STEM career opportunities. Lunch and snacks will be provided.</p><p>Volunteers must be at least 18 years-old.</p>
