Yes. Refreshments, snacks and lunch will be provided.  Dietary needs will be confirmed with participants before the course commences.

Who will facilitate the course?

The Learning River are a team of First Nations and non- First Nations teachers who are passionate about supporting teachers to raise the game in how educators address Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history in the classroom.

Can both Primary and Secondary teachers undertake the course?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The course has been carefully designed for educators from K-10.  Practical examples will be provided for Primary and Secondary teachers. The course focuses on the Australian Curriculum Cross Curriculum Priority area of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures

How long does the course go for?

Registration commences at 8.30am.  The course will run from 9am to 3pm; with a 30-40 minute lunch break.
