<h3>About the Presenters</h3> Mike McCarthy graduated from law school at the University of Idaho in 1985. Since that time Mike has practiced at Idaho Legal Aid Services Inc. in Twin Falls. Our office serves the Magic Valley. The focus of my practice has been in the areas of evictions, the Fair Housing Act, Medicaid, Social Security disability, guardianships and domestic violence related cases.Peg Richards joined IFHC in October 2022 as the Education Project Director. Her background includes working with people experiencing homelessness, oversight of a low-income housing program, advocating for the disenfranchised, and educating our community about the experiences of people with whom she has worked with for the past two decades. Peg has contributed to the IFHC team by creating curriculum for Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, creating our Inclusive Community &amp; Construction and Design updated guides, oversees our statewide media outreach, and other educational materials.
