Join us for an ITS-IN-SCOPE Guided Exploration led by Archive Caretaker Fellow Ephraim Owairu.

A screening of 'rumenation' a short film by Ephraim OwairuThe screening will be flanked by brief performances by the homies (Karim Wadood and Walela Nehanda), serving as an expansion on the themes, topics, feelings, etc. explored in and around the film and its process of creation. The homies were provided “sample packs," collections of clips from the film, as well as other forms of media (songs, essays, lectures, etc.) that contributed to the miasma that birthed the film. Their performances, the result of rumination themselves, will speak to 'rumenation' by way of the artists's own interpretation of a selection of the source material, serving as both responses and stand-alone companions to the film.
