Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s mission is to harness the power of plants for humankind and share the joy and beauty of tropical gardening with everyone.Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden (FTBG) is an 83-acre botanical and cultural institution established in 1936 and located in Coral Gables, Florida. Fairchild exists to promote the understanding, conservation, use, and enjoyment of tropical plants.

Our South Florida ecosystems are in danger, we need your help! This Earth Day join us in a virtual mission to protect Miami by understanding and planting native plants. Go out into the field with Fairchild’s scientist and help preserve Florida’s Pine Rocklands, a severely endangered ecosystem. 
Guest speaker: Fairchild’s conservation horticulturist, Brian Harding and South Florida Conservation Program Manager, Dr. Jennifer Possley
This class will be taught online using ZOOM (<A HREF="https://zoom.us/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://zoom.us/</A>), a FREE online video conferencing platform.  All you need is a computer, internet access, a webcam, and a microphone. Details and login information will be sent prior to the class.
