Hauser & Wirth was founded in 1992 in Zurich by Iwan Wirth, Manuela Wirth and Ursula Hauser, who were joined in 2000 by Partner and  President Marc Payot. A family business with a global outlook, Hauser & Wirth has expanded over the past 29 years to include outposts in Hong Kong, London, New York, Los Angeles, Somerset, Gstaad, St. Moritz, Southampton (NY), Menorca, and Monaco. The cover is accompanied by a conversation focusing on Huyghe’s prophetic work and the future of art and humanity. Other artists featured in the issue include Mark Bradford, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Zeng Fanzhi, Josh Kline, Verena Loewensberg, Anna Maria Maiolino, Mika Rottenberg and Wu Tsang, as well as playwright Will Arbery and poets Richard Hell and Fred Moten. Each copy of the magazine includes an exclusive, limited-release seven-inch vinyl record, featuring two previously unreleased compositions from Caroline Shaw and Andrew Yee’s film score from Wu Tsang’s ‘Moby Dick; or, The Whale’. This event is free to attend; however, due to limited space, reservations are recommended.
