It’s on Water St between Anchorage Place and Adams St. You can use "28 Adams Street" for the purposes of maps. Parking in Dumbo is tricky! We strongly encourage you to take public transit.---------------------------------------------------------THE MUSIC!La Sonora Nuyorkina is a contemporary salsa band bringing a fresh sound to the latin genres, playing all-time classics to the most popular hits of today.<h4> </h4><h4>---------------------------------------------------------</h4>JOIN THE ARTIST ON THE INTERACTIVE ART WALL!"For over 20 years I’ve painted geometric shapes and patterns in vibrant colors and dreamy spectrums. Visual pleasure is what I’m after. They look precise from a distance, but get closer and you’ll see their looseness. Each mark reveals the rhythm and attention needed to craft the painting, and provides a sneak peak into the studio. Wobbly grids, sinuous blobs and transparent colors indicate little desire for perfection, but great care in organizing.I also make collages. They’re spontaneous, with clashing patterns and ideas coming fast and plenty. I’m painting even more color sketches too. Playing with basic color theories to create dramatic spectrums. Both processes are laid back and playful. All my work is some sort of bright collage or mashup of ideas.Various textiles and design movements fuel ideas for colors and patterns. The beat of NYC streets and fashion are important references too. My compositions are not fully planned, I prefer an open-ended approach. I’ll start with color concepts and patterns.
