2-Day | Professional Scrum Master - (PSM I) Certification Class

The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course is a 2-Day course for effective Scrum Masters and for anyone coaching a scrum team toward increased efficiency and effectiveness. The course includes advanced thinking for servant-leadership and behavioral shift. Throughout the course, students are challenged to think in terms of the Scrum principles to better understand what to do in different situations when returning to the workplace.

The PSM course is much more than just a set of slides and an instructor. In this course, students work on real-life cases with other classmates together as a team. This course is made up of discussions and hands-on exercises based on actual cases.

Advanced tools for servant-leadership are provided to increase a Scrum Master’s effectiveness. These tools relate to behavioral shifts, working with people and teams, coaching and facilitation techniques, and addressing the organization.

Students learn through instruction and team-based exercises and are challenged to think in terms of the Scrum principles to better understand what to do when returning to the workplace.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Students are challenged to think within the Scrum Framework and the underlying values and principles to better understand what to do when returning to the workplace, especially when faced with complex decisions.

Through theoretical and experiential training you will:

• Help Scrum Teams deliver value to their organization
• Understand the theory and principles behind Scrum and empiricism
• Understand how each part of the Scrum framework ties back to the principles and theory
• Understand uncertainty and complexity in product delivery

Should your course be rescheduled or canceled, you have the option of rescheduling to another course or receiving a full refund. Please note rescheduling requests will be sent no later than 7 days before the start date.
