Join us for a celebration and Part I of LeadersConnect’s two-part series focused on the past,present, and future of our region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. After more than two decades,Michael Cole, Technology Industry Group President will be retiring from Bank of Ann Arbor atthe end of April. This session will highlight the contributions that the Bank of Ann ArborTechnology Group and many collaborators, including University of Michigan InnovationPartnerships and Ann Arbor SPARK have made and continue to make towards helping to build21st century companies and jobs in Michigan. Contributors to include Governor Snyder, Kelly Sexton, Skip Simms, Mike Klein, Tim Marshall and other specialguests. They will share their stories about the development of the entrepreneurial landscapeover the years, highlight current programs, and discuss future opportunities. Michael Cole - Is the President and founder of the Technology Industry Group at Bank of Ann Arbor, a specialized banking practice which provides financing and banking services to technology and life sciences businesses and venture capital firms. Prior to joining Bank of Ann Arbor, Michael spent nearly two decades in California as an entrepreneur and co-founder of one of the nation’s leading technology sector corporate banking practices. He is the past President and founder of the Ann Arbor Angels private investment group and has served as the board chair of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, Leslie Science &amp; Nature Center, and Ozone House. Michael is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Southern California Graduate School of Business, holds a degree in finance from Michigan State University, and is a current Wayne State University TechTown Detroit board member.
