SOUTHBURY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT

The Southbury Community Lions Club presents a Night of ComedyThe Southbury Community Lions Club is hosting a night filled with laughter, jokes, and good times. Get ready to unwind, relax, and enjoy some top-notch comedy performances. We found four of the funniest comics in the state to entertain you: Lina Caporaso Seen at Comix Roadhouse at Mohegan Sun and Vinny Brand's Stress Factory in Bridgeport , as well as in many showcases around the state.Frank Murgalo A well-seasoned veteran of the New York and Connecticut comedy circuits, Frank has also starred off-Broadway, acted in a few movies, and has been seen on television's Food 911.Brooke Louellen Smith A frequent performer around the state, Brooke is often hosting shows locally at Woodbury Brewing and Black Hog Brewing, and was a frequent performer at the Bat Soup Comedy Nights in New Haven, as well as being a guest on WPLR's Chaz and AJ morning show.Pat Oates Our evening's headliner, Pat is a winner of Foxwood Casino's Last Comic Standing, the author of "How Not To Suck As Comedy", host of the P.O.S. (Pat Oates Show) podcast, seen on several television appearances, heard on WPLR and WFOX "The Fox!", as well as being the host of many comedy shows throughout the state.This is a "Bring Your Own Everything" event--Snacks or dinner, and adult beverages are welcome. Keep in mind that this event is not suitable for anyone under 21. There's plenty of free parking, and the doors open at 6pm, with the show starting at 7pm. This event is a great opportunity to support our work in the community and have a blast while doing so. Don't miss out on this fantastic night out!
