The Brooklyn Comedy Collective is an alt comedy space that was created in March 2018 with a mission to produce irreverent, fearless shows from a wide range of voices, pays its artists, and inspires students to approach performance from a place of joy and fierceness.

Zach Zimmerman (TimeOut Comic to Watch, The New Yorker) and Sam Morrison (Stand Up NBC Finalist, Bravo) split an hour with new, raw, untested, uncut material for your eyes and ears.Sam Morrison is a tall boy man from (tragically) Florida who graduated from Cornell with a degree in Government, which was a cover for having gay sex in the theatre department for 4 years. He just showcased in the Stand Up NBC Finals and finished writing for the 1st season of Blind Date on Bravo TV. You may have seen him at RuPaul’s DragCon, Travel Channel, PBS, or heard him on SiriusXM. His work has been highlighted in the NY Times, Time Out, GQ, Chortle, and Metro UK.Zach Zimmerman is a sweet, queer Southern boy with a ribald sense of humor. A TimeOut NY Comic to Watch, Zach’s first comedy album “Clean Comedy,” debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy charts the Billboard Top 10. His Edinburgh Fringe debut of the same name gained critical praise and was listed as a show to see in the New York Comedy Festival by the The New York Times. He’s been profiled in New York Magazine, Vulture, and Splitsider and published in The New Yorker and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency. He’s a Moth StorySLAM Champion, creator/host of 100 People in a Room presented at ARS NOVA, and once opened for the drag queen Alyssa Edwards. Prior to relocating to Brooklyn, Zach trained and performed in Chicago with The Second City Theatricals. He is a proud first-generation Princeton University graduate, and an out queer vegetarian atheist.
