Seeds of Caring

Children will explore grief and loss and then create bedside art for hospice patients served by OhioHealth.

Who this Anywhere Project is for:Ages 6 -12. Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you'll be doing:Children will explore loss and grief through a read aloud story and age-appropriate discussion created in partnership with <a href="https://www.ohiohealth.com/services/ohiohealth-at-home/hospice" title="https://www.ohiohealth.com/services/ohiohealth-at-home/hospice" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">OhioHealth</a>. Helping hands will then create an art project that will be placed by the bedside of hospice patients served by OhioHealth to bring smiles and happiness.Have a large group that's short on time? Use the self-guided tabletop resource included in your service packet.When you'll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on August 31st. Donations may be mailed or delivered June 1 - August 31 to the Seeds of Caring office in Worthington. An address and instructions will be provided in your service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more.
