Join VCE Biologist Kent McFarland to learn about butterfly ecology as we conduct surveys for the Second Vermont Butterfly Atlas with the option to come socialize at a nearby brewery afterwards.

- Location: Near Brownsville, VT. Specific location information will be sent via email.
- Terrain: Expect to hike, with some time on trail and some time off trail, in hilly, wooded terrain. There will be frequent stops for butterflies.
- What to Wear: Comfortable clothes for the field, including hiking boots.
- What to Bring: Butterfly nets, binoculars, and cameras are encouraged but not required. VCE will bring some extra nets to share.
- Afterwards: You’re welcome to join us at a nearby brewery to socialize following our outing.
