Blogger and renowned travel influencer Helene Sula will be at The Garden District Book Shop April 9 to celebrate the release of her travel memoir Two O'Clock on a Tuesday at Trevi Fountain: A Search for an Unconventional Life Abroad.In her inspiring debut—the antidote to the “just quit your job and ditch all your belongings to backpack the world” mentality—Sula explores how she took calculated risks to follow her dreams: traveling and living abroad without sacrificing stability and comfort.Sula is no stranger to the world of travel and storytelling. As the founder of the award-winning travel blog, "Helene in Between," Sula has cultivated a global community of passionate travelers and adventure-seekers. With her unique perspective and engaging narrative style, Sula continues to inspire audiences around the world to pursue their dreams of exploration.Like many young professionals, Sula had settled into a steady 9-5, watching the clock tick by and dreaming of seeing the world one day. But after a climbing accident leaves her bed bound for months, she finds a new voice connecting with others online and starts a blog to write about her true passion: travel. When her blog takes off and a sponsored trip overseas opens her eyes, she wonders: could she lead a stable life while traveling the world?The event will begin at 6:00 PM and Sula will sit down to share her journey and insights with guests. Afterwards, she will open the floor to a Q&amp;A before signing copies of her book.Entry to the event requires a ticket purchased via Eventbrite. Single and Couples tickets are available for $25 (plus Eventbrite fees.) and include a copy of the book.Please note. If the ticket holder does not attend the event to collect their signed copy, and does not contact the book shop to make arrangements to get their book, the ticket holder will forfeit the copy if not claimed in two weeks. If the book needs to be shipped to them or held for longer than two weeks, they can contact The Garden District Book Shop at (504) 895-2266.
