Do you have art supplies that you no longer need and trying to figure out what to do with them? Are you wanting to jump start your creative practice and need a refresh on your art supplies?Then we invite you to join our "Art Supply Swap" event on Sunday April 14th from 2-4pm. Enjoy an afternoon of refreshments while networking and trading art supplies with fellow artists. One artist's junk may be another artist's inspiration! Note: Please be sure to check list below to see what items are acceptable for swapping.********************************************************************************Items that we accept:Art + Craft pencils, colored pencils, markers, drawing pens, erasers, sharpeners, acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolor paints, paintbrushes, clean canvases, pastels, charcoal, crafting clay, ink and ink pads, printmaking tools, calligraphy tools, hand tools, scissors, cutting mats, beads + jewelry making supplies, art storage containers, cigar boxesFibers thread, knitting + crochet tools, sewing needles, aida cloth, fabric (larger than 10" x 10", please no scraps!), elastic, zippers, leather, pins, lace, hemp, embroidery floss, rotary cutters, scissors, stencils, yarn, patterns, transfers, knitting + sewing baskets and cases, rulers, vintage and modern notions and toolsStationery watercolor paper, craft paper, scrap booking paper, wallpaper (samples), sketchbooks, notebooks, stationery, envelopes, sticky notes, glue, tape, memo books, rulers, cards, stamps, stickers, ink padsBooks art- and craft- related books, coloring books, sewing books, vintage books + maps, collage materials, craft magazines, handmade books and zinesOther itemsenamel pins, patches, maps, clean planters, small gardening supplies, bubble mailers and packing supplies (except styrofoam packing peanuts), shipping boxes, paper &amp; reusable shopping bags, frames, mats, easels, buttons Items that we cannot accept:<ul><li>Fake flowers and plants</li><li>Holiday decorations, holiday-specific books, or anything Christmas-related</li><li>Home linens, towels, sheets, drapes or tablecloths</li><li>Anything toxic, combustible or hazardous (including spray paints and aerosols)</li><li>Clothing and clothing hangers of any kind</li><li>Electronics and appliances</li><li>Tile and fabric samples</li><li>House paint</li><li>Medical supplies</li><li>Scraps of fabric smaller than 10" x 10"</li><li>Anything broken or needing repair, especially sewing machines</li><li>Binders or large office supplies</li><li>Glitter or anything with glitter</li><li>Heavy or Oversized Items: anything that requires more than one person to carry</li></ul>
