About the Event

The 2022 Begin Prize recipient, Yoseph Haddad, is indeed a notable figure with a diverse background. As an Arab-Israeli who served as an IDF commander, he brings a unique perspective to the complex dynamics of the Middle East and his experiences as both a soldier and a journalist provide valuable insights into the challenges faced by individuals living in the region.

Emily Schrader, on the other hand, is known for her work in journalism, activism, and content creation, particularly focusing on the Middle East. Her efforts to share real stories from the region contribute to a more nuanced understanding of the various narratives at play.

After the October 7th massacre and rocket bombardment, both Haddad and Schrader played crucial roles in reporting on the events and advocating for their respective causes. Haddad's perspective as an Arab-Israeli with firsthand military experience adds depth to discussions surrounding security and conflict resolution, while Schrader's work likely focused on amplifying voices from all sides of the conflict and shedding light on the human impact of violence in the region.

The goal of the evening is to have an in-depth, interactive discussion with our speakers and audience with the aim of providing useful tools and skills for everyday life as a supporter of Israel. In addition to imparting knowledge, the FMBHC seeks to inspire and empower audiences. FMBHC invites members of the community and media representatives to join this impactful event and contribute to the promotion of truth and advocacy for Israel.
