In addition to teaching public workshops, she has trained activists for progressive political organizations such as Indivisible, MoveOn, and Women's March.Dr. Tamerius has pioneered the use of chat bots for teaching political dialogue skills, publishing two interactive pieces for the New York Times that taught Democrats and Republicans how to discuss politics with each other without destroying the 2018 and 2019 holidays using an “Angry Uncle Bot”. Recently, Dr. Tamerius created a "smarter" version of the Angry Uncle Bot powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT-4 that can talk about any political issue.Her dialogue work has been featured in media outlets across the political spectrum, including NPR, The Guardian, Time, Scientific American, Fox and Friends, Business Insider, and Mother Jones.
