The Red Sun Ranch

This camp will inspire you and your family to get outdoors through the cooler seasons to come. We look forward to recalling the Old Ways, sitting around the campfire with friends and family, sharing stories, gratitude, and laughter! We offer sliding scale pricing, subsidized by donations from supporters of our mission. Please select a contribution level consistent with your means. Thank you! Level 1: $600 first person, $300/additional Level 2 (subsidized): $450 first person, $225/additional Level 3 (subsidized): $300 first person, $150/additional All meals will be provided (dinner on Wednesday, breakfast/lunch/dinner Thursday to Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday); please include any dietary restrictions in your registration. Each family must bring basic, personal camping gear! You will receive a recommended packing list with your confirmation (also included below). We can't wait to gather with nature and each other around the fire and under the stars. Sign up early to join us for an inspiring few days - space is limited!- Rick Berry, Juan Villarreal &amp; the 4EEE Crew Arrival: Wednesday, November 27th, from 3-5pm.Departure: Sunday, December 1st, 12 noon. Out of State Participants:Anyone travelling here from out of State, we unfortunately can’t provide airport transportation, you will need to rent a vehicle. Please contact us if you need any assistance with logistical questions.Closest Airports: Corpus Christi International Airport is located just over an hour away or San Antonio International Airport is located approx'. 2.5 hours away from the Ranch. Recommended gear list:<ul><li>Tent (with rain fly and ground cloth)</li><li>Tarp and rope (for additional rain protection)</li><li>A sleeping bag for each participant (please bring extra blankets as it can get cold!)</li><li>Sleeping Pad(s)</li><li>Towels</li><li>Rain Gear and Additional layers for warmth in various weather conditions</li><li>Hat</li><li>Two pairs of shoes, hard soled shoes are recommended</li><li>Flashlight / headlamp</li><li>Bandana</li><li>Water Bottle (1 per person minimum)</li><li>Eating Utensils: Bowl, plate, cup / mug, spoon, fork</li><li>Toiletry items (biodegradable soap only please)</li><li>Journal and writing utensil</li><li>Bug repellent, preferably natural/non-toxic</li><li>Non-folding carving knife (we have some to borrow or purchase if you do not have one)</li><li>Sunglasses and sunscreen</li><li>Tweezers for tick removal</li><li>Folding chairs for all members of your group</li><li>Any skills you are currently working on (optional, but encouraged!)</li><li>If it cannot get dirty, do not bring it!</li></ul> 4EEE is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit with a mission to deliver programs that guide children, families, and teens toward a pure connection to the Earth through direct experiences in nature.
