About this event

  • 1 day 5 hours

Join us for co-24 — a walk-through exhibition of works by 21 designers from the School of Visual Arts MFA Interaction Design, class of 2024. The show features emergent, interdisciplinary practitioners from across the globe applying co-design methods to imagine more inclusive futures. Projects include research, prototypes and speculative scenarios to meet emergent challenges, such as:

  • How can generative AI help nurture critical thinking for middle-school kids in India?
  • How can people with multiple sclerosis have a better experience navigating public and personal transit in New York City?
  • How can young people learn to care for their hands to prevent chronic injuries from using devices?

co-24 invites you to consider the themes of collaboration, connection, compassion, and construction towards a more intentionally inclusive future for us all.

May 16th & 17th , 4:00 – 9:00 PM

The MFA in Interaction Design program trains students to research, analyze, prototype, and design concepts in their business, social, and cultural contexts. It explores the strategic role of interaction design in shaping everyday life, and intends to increase the relevancy of design to business and to society so designers can make a difference.
