<h3>Free SEL and Peace Education Resources</h3> Our kids are bombarded today with negative messages that can influence their thoughts about the world around them and even damage their self-esteem. Keeping our kids centered is no easy task, but we have all come to learn that providing Social, Emotional, and even Spiritual Life Skills is one of the most critical measures we can take to support our youth. When children understand their emotions, they can regulate their behavior and even learn to choose and maintain healthy relationships!  Developing and honing these skills at an early age puts kids on a path toward more self-awareness and enhanced mental well-being. For these reasons and inspired by the Frederick Douglass quote, “We believe that it is easier to raise strong children than repair broken adults.”, we created Spiritual Playdate. At Spiritual Playdate, we offer fun and engaging Peace Education tools for use by parents, teachers, caregivers, social workers, grandparents, and faith educators to use with children aged 5 and above.  Join Spiritual Playdate's founder and CVO, Edwina Cowell, for inspiration and a tour of this fascinating new resource for kids, which includes conversations, activities, books, games, music, and even meditations!
