Do I need to know how to draw to join?

Nope! Not at all. You don't need any artistic skills to join this class. This is more about noticing and cultivating our curiosity in creative ways.

What supplies do I need?

Please have a multi-media sketchbook and the materials you'd like to draw or journal with. We'll be combining visual art with writing so you could use colored pencils, watercolors, markers, or even scraps from magazines, etc!

Will you be teaching technical skills?

This class is free form, open to all levels and skills. I'm "not" an artist (I secretly believe we're all artists!) so I will be learning, exploring, and playing alongside you. However, I will share examples of the many ways you can approach nature journaling from my journal and others.
