Golden Eagle Audubon is dedicated to birding, wildlife education, cultivating native plants, habitat conservation, advocacy for birds, and more. As the Southwest Idaho chapter of the National Audubon Society, we offer birding trips for all ages, monthly educational presentations, community science programs, and work on the conservation and restoration of public lands. Most of our programs are free and open to the public as part of our commitment to serving the community. Golden Eagle Audubon is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we welcome everyone to join us! Visit our website to learn more.

Join other young birders for a guided walk along the beautiful and birdy Boise River.

Julia Davis Park

This bird bike ride is beginner friendly and binoculars will be provided if needed. Please register by 3 DAYS BEFORE EVENT to ensure you can borrow binoculars, availability for later registrations is dependent on how many other participants requested them.We will be biking alongside the Boise River Greenbelt. We will meet at Julia Davis Park, by the red bridge that crosses the Boise River.This event is intended for ages 25 and under but parents and/or guardians are welcome accompanying minors. If you are accompanying a minor please count yourself as a participant!Please bring water, any snacks you want, and binoculars if you have them.Attendees must bring their own bike and helmet, as well as a bike lock if you have one.This trip is led by Sam Bellis.
