Symposium on psychopathy -  explore the latest research and developments in psychopathy studies in a collegial environment.

<p>The University of San Diego, located on a mesa overlooking Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean, is recognized by the Princeton Review as the most beautiful campus in the US and provides the perfect setting for a 2 day symposium in psychopathy. Our aim is to foster discussion and collaboration in an engaging environment to help further knowledge and understanding of psychopathy in a wide range of social, cultural and organizational settings.</p><p><strong>We invite you to submit a proposal for presentation or a proposal to host a workshop on any of the following broad areas of interest:</strong></p><ul><li>Sub-types of psychopathy: All manifestations of psychopathy including primary, secondary, criminal, high-functioning, and sub-clinical</li><li>Assessment of psychopathy: Research on the development and validation of assessment tools within particularly populations or contexts (e.g. Organizational psychology assessments)</li><li>The Dark Triad/ Tetrad: Research on malignant forms of personality related to psychopathy</li><li>Factors associated with psychopathy: Behavioral outcomes within specific populations, e.g. counter-productive work behavior</li><li>Management of high-functioning psychopathy: Explore the ways in which organizations can reduce the impact of difficult personalities</li><li>Clinical applications/ case studies: The conference welcomes presentations from practitioners who have examples of management of high functioning personality disorder in an occupational setting</li><p></p></ul><p>This Symposium is expressly intended to foster open and collegial debate and discussion, to share research, and to stimulate future reseach activities. Consequently the format of the symposium welcomes proposals as full competitive papers, abstracts, workshop presentations, and panel discussions.</p><p></p>
