The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) is an international leader in educating and certifying retail loss prevention and asset protection professionals. LPF’s mission is to advance the retail loss prevention and asset protection profession by providing relevant, convenient and challenging educational resources.LPF is responsible for administering the retail industry’s only internationally sanctioned certifications: LPQualified (LPQ) and LPCertified (LPC). It’s accompanying accredited prep-courses (LPQ, LPC), and proctored exams are focused on measuring individual industry knowledge and elevating the professional image of the industry. With LPF’s 24/7 online educational resources and professional membership program, LPF is able to educate the industry like no other organization of its kind, in the world.Founded in 2006, and governed under the leadership of a 34 member board of directors, LPF is the only 501 (c) 6, not-for-profit organization of its kind; exclusively recognized by and dedicated to the retail loss prevention and asset protection industry.The Loss Prevention Foundation’s retail focus is set by a board of directors, composed of LP individuals who largely hold senior level positions at retail companies or in companies that serve the retail sector. Unlike bigger trade associations, whose boards are composed of retail CEOs, the Loss Prevention Foundation is exclusively created to serve the education needs of the retail LP/AP profession.

To this end, the LPF is proud to announce the first 2020 LPF Learning Day. This one-day seminar will be held Tuesday, March 3 at the University of Cincinnati from 8:30am – 5:00pm and is designed to inform and energize prospective and current LP/AP practitioners by featuring top industry executives.
This event is being held for anyone interested in a career in public safety, business or related fields, as well as, current LP professionals looking to take their career to the next level.
The fast-moving agenda includes nationally recognized speakers sharing information about career opportunities, professional development, emerging technologies, and cutting-edge asset protection insights.
