2024 "Spirit of Maya Awards" Luncheon & Celebration

The Celebrate! Maya Project of Arkansas is a 5013c charity and education organization whose mission is to educate youth and adults about the life and legacy of Dr. Maya Angelou, and partner with schools and communities in the Arkansas delta regions to encourage education and literacy. In addition to creating education and history initiatives at the schools, the Project awards three academic scholarships and two poetry awards to deserving students each year.

When you learn, teach.” Featuring music by Rodney Block Collective, and poetry by a surprise guest.Come join us at the William J. Clinton Library and Museum for a day filled with recognition, inspiration, and celebration! The Spirit of Maya Awards honor outstanding individuals who embody the spirit of leadership and service.
