The Celebrate! Maya Project of Arkansas is a 5013c charity and education organization whose mission is to educate youth and adults about the life and legacy of Dr. Maya Angelou, and partner with schools and communities in the Arkansas delta regions to encourage education and literacy. In addition to creating education and history initiatives at the schools, the Project awards three academic scholarships and two poetry awards to deserving students each year.

<p>The Celebrate! Maya Project once again hosts its Jazz Brunch this year featuring  musical stylings by Curtis JJ Adams and the So Good Jazz Quartet. Entertainment also includes seven "Celebrity Poets" sharing short prose/poetry to honor the life and legacy of icon Dr. Maya Angelou. Proceeds support our programs and activities with students and communities.</p>
