Founded in 1967, the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s mission is to protect and care for Southwest Florida's coastal ecosystems through its focus on Water Quality Research, Policy and Advocacy, Sea Turtles and Shorebirds, Native Landscaping, Habitat and Wildlife Management, and Environmental Education. SCCF is the largest private landowner on Sanibel Island. It manages 1,300 acres of land on Sanibel and Captiva and owns hundreds of additional acres in the Southwest Florida region. SCCF is proud to manage numerous public and non-public trails and preserves, a Native Landscape & Garden Center, Marine Laboratory, Sanibel Sea School, Coastal Watch volunteer program, and more.

We're 'Back to the Bushes' for our 10th Annual End-of-Season Celebration

For our tenth anniversary, <a href="https://sccf.org/events-programs/fundraising-events/beer-in-the-bushes/" title="https://sccf.org/events-programs/fundraising-events/beer-in-the-bushes/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Beer in the Bushes</a> is coming home. Join us on March 30 on the grounds of the newly restored SCCF headquarters on San-Cap Road! We'll have craft beer tastings from regional breweries, live music, and food truck offerings, all included in the price of admission.Thursday, March 7, at 10 a.m., we'll be offering a limited number of 'Early Bird' tickets for $100! After those sell out, tickets will be $125.This 10th annual, end-of-season party is a continuing tradition for SCCF to celebrate all things Sanibel and Captiva — to make new friends, and connect with old.To honor being "Back to the Bushes," the suggested attire this year is camo cool/safari chic!

Thanks to returning Music Sponsor, The Marcums, Railroad Earth will take the stage production up a level! A pioneering jam-grass collective, you'll be amazed by their combination of technical virtuosity, lyrical songwriting, and improvisational skills.

Guests are sure to have a great evening while supporting <a href="https://sccf.org/about/" title="https://sccf.org/about/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SCCF's mission</a> to protect and care for Southwest Florida's coastal ecosystems. This outdoor rain or shine event is set for Saturday, March 30 from 6-10 pm. Local food truck offerings will complement the beer tastings from regional breweries. All tickets include "TruxBux," redeemable for dinner choices from any of the trucks. Wine, soft drinks, water, and light snacks are also included.This fundraising event is 21+, with proper ID required for admission. Reselling of tickets above face value is prohibited and will result in the cancellation of the tickets without a refund.This is a smoke-free event.
