Re.Use.Full is excited to invite you to our latest Wednesday 101 Webinar with a presentation from the Green Burial Council titled, “What is green burial?” This event will explore different sustainable burial practices with a focus on green burial. It will also detail the work the Green Burial Council does to certify cemeteries, funeral homes, and products offering sustainable deathcare options and show you how to locate certified providers in your area. After the presentation, there will be time for a Q&amp;A so please bring your questions!About the presenter -Stephanie Dresen currently serves as the Board Secretary for the Green Burial Council International and is an environmental professional with extensive experience in both climate policy and chemical management. During her career, Stephanie has worked to bridge the gap between science and applicable public policy through advocacy, education, and program implementation. She currently serves as a Natural Systems Coordinator for the City of Kansas City, Missouri implementing nature-based solutions to address climate change. Stephanie is also a LEED Green Associate with the US Green Building Council and holds both a MS in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Biochemistry and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She is using her expertise in sustainability, public policy, and chemical stewardship to advocate for environmentally just, green burial options for all.
