What to expect

Volunteering on the 21 Acres farm can involve: walking on uneven ground, standing or crouching for a few hours at a time, lifting heavy objects, and/or working with sharp tools. All training is provided. Volunteers are encouraged to work at their own pace and take breaks regularly.

Transportation

The number 231 bus runs along NE 171st ST and the 311 stops along NE 175th ST. Free parking is available in our parking lot, though space is limited so carpooling is recommended. There is a bike rack outside the Farm Market.

Question 3

Age requirement

Accepted Answer

Those 13 years and older are welcome to attend our farm volunteer events. Volunteers ages 13-15 need an adult participant volunteering with them, and anyone under the age of 18 needs parent/guardian permission.
