Join Potomac Conservancy and Potomac Boat Club for an exciting, safe, fun trash cleanup event at Theodore Roosevelt Island for Earth Day Service. We're coming together with a fantastic group of 50 participants to make a massive impact on the Potomac River, turning it into a pristine haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
This is your chance to be a river hero! Secure one of the coveted 50 spots and be part of the transformation of your hometown river!
Important Things to do before the event:
- Signed minor release form (only for minors): PC Minor Release and NPS Minor Release
- Close-toed shoes, a hat, tick and bug spray
- Reusable work gloves and trash grabbers if you have one or prefer to use yours. If not, we have some available
- Sturdy footwear that can get muddy, boots if possible
- Great energy and enthusiasm 😊
