Award-nominated and Reuben Award-nominated artist of Harvey Kurtzman’s Marley’s Ghost (ComiXology), Eric Powell’s Lester of the Lesser Gods (Dark Horse/Albatross Funnybooks) and MegaGhost (Dark Horse/Albatross Funnybooks). He is also the creator of the sci-fi comic WHATZIT (Heavy Metal/Virus). He is the co-creator, with Doug Latino, of the auto-bio anthology WAIT…It Get’s Worse (Cosmic Lion). His work has been featured in MAD Magazine and Heavy Metal. Other credits include First Second Books (TBA), Z2 Comics (The Weird Al Yankovic and Cheech &amp; Chong graphic novels), Disney, Cartoon Network, and The New York Times.Gideon teaches Inking and Drawing at The School of Visual Arts in NYC.Gideon grew up on a commune in rural Appalachia and escaped to go to college in NYC. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his partner and fellow artist Julie Peppito and their son Milo. His hobbies include cooking, oil painting, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and exploring Brookyn on bicycle. <h3>About Doug Latino</h3>Doug Latino is co-creator, writer, and editor of the autobiographical comic, Wait…It Gets Worse. He’s worked in media in New York City for 30 years and is currently a podcast network executive. He’s had numerous auto-biographical short stories published in graphic anthologies, including, Tales From the Wolf, and Wizerd #2, both from Cosmic Lion Productions, and Bottoms Up, from Birdcage Bottom Books. He is a visual artist and photographer living in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, with his wife, psychotherapist Dr. Rose Latino, and their two teenage daughters.
