About this event

  • 3 hours

WABA’s Trail Riding Basics class teaches you the skills you need to ride safely, confidently and considerately on our region’s many trails and multi-use paths.

In this class, we focus on practicing basic bike handling skills such as shifting, scanning, signaling, gradual braking and weaving. Instructors discuss the importance of trail etiquette while riding on a multi-use path and answer any questions that participants may have about trail riding for commuting or recreation.

At the end of class, we’ll go for a group trail ride, where participants put their newly acquired skills to the test. Have any questions? Email us at education@waba.org.

Check out WABA’s Code of Conduct for event participants.
