Learn about the benefits and requirements of National MBE certification through the National Minority Supplier Development Council.

Location for in-person sessions: Capital Region MSDC.  Currently, all sessions are being held via interactive videoconferencing.

<h2>Note: Event will be held as an interactive video conference until further notice due to coronavirus concerns.  Registrants will receive a follow-up email with the link to the Zoom video conference.  </h2><h2>Registration ends two days prior to event! </h2><h2>Who Should Attend:   </h2>Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) who plan to apply for National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) certification in the next 30 days.   <h2>The Briefing Will Cover The Following:</h2><ul><li>About NMSDC and CRMSDC</li><li>What is NMSDC Certification</li><li>Benefits of NMSDC Certification</li><li>What are the Criteria for NMSDC Certification</li><li>How to Access and Complete the On-line Application</li><li>What Documents are Required for Certification</li><li>What is the Certification Time-Line</li></ul>Limited to 30 Attendees (for in-person sessions only)<h2>Contact Us</h2>Email:  <a href="mailto:crmsdc@crmsdc.org" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">crmsdc@crmsdc.org</a> Phone:  301-593-5860<a href="#" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a> <h2>Directions to Capital Region MSDC Conference Room (when held in person)</h2>10720 Columbia Pike (Route 29)1st Floor, Silver Spring, Maryland 20901 Traveling South from the Baltimore and Columbia, Maryland area: Driving SOUTH on Rt. 29, turn RIGHT onto LOCKWOOD DRIVE.  Lockwood Drive is located at a traffic light.  Once you make the right, bear left on the road behind the Sonoco gas station.  At the end of this road, make a right and then an immediate left.  This will bring you to the parking lot and entrance at the back of our building.  Park closest to the middle building—10750, where CRMSDC is headquartered.  You will have to walk down a walkway to the next building on your right (if you’re facing 10750) to enter Building 10720.    When you enter 10720, take the elevator down 1 flight to the 1st Floor Conference Room. Traveling North from the Washington D.C. and Virginia area: Driving NORTH on Rt. 29, you will need to pass the building (on your left) and make a U-turn at the traffic light at BURNT MILL AVENUE.  At the next traffic light, turn right on LOCKWOOD  DRIVE.  Once you make the right, keep left on the road behind the Sonoco gas station.  At the end of the road make a right and then an immediate left.  This will bring you to parking lot and entrance to the the back of our building.  Park closest to the middle building—10750, where CRMSDC is headquartered.  You will have to walk down a walkway to the next building on your right (if you’re facing 10750) to enter Building 10720.    When you enter 10720, take the elevator down 1 flight to the 1st Floor Conference Room. If you have any questions, please email us at certifications@crmsdc.org or call us at 301.593.5860.
